Mercury Avator Electric Outboards
Most of us have had some exposure to electric cars and no doubt have different views on their suitability. However, when it comes to boats there have only been small electric outboards for inflatables and small dinghies.
As an innovative manufacturer of Outboards, you would expect Mercury to be in the forefront of electric powered engines. Currently, we have limited information on the new ranges available, but we think it’s important to let you know what’s coming down the track and answer any questions you may have about suitability and availability.
Avatar smart chargers constantly monitor voltage and current to deliver safe and effective charge on a standard household outlet. Multiple chargers are also available.
The intelligent displays provide estimates of range and up to the second battery life meter, to keep you up to date in your trip.
There is now a Mercury marine app that provides access to GPS maps and visualised range estimates and digital gauges. In addition, there are tutorials and more detailed information.
