Engine locks (lock it or lose it)

It is essential to have an engine lock for insurance purposes; we almost always have stock of these items. We offer two products: one for transom bolted engines and one for clamp mounted engines. Our recommended solution is the Motor Loc boat engine lock.

Design specifically for smaller, clamp-mounted outboard engines

Engine LockThe original solution for locking outboard motors or engines to a boat’s transom to prevent outboard motor theft. These are for use where an outboard engine is attached using the engine’s clamping bracket. Your outboard is valuable and vulnerable. No outboard is insured unless it is locked on with an insurance approved lock.

The slot in the lock covers the two clamp heads making it nearly impossible for a potential thief to get access to them

For through-transom bolted engine installations

Engine LockAs two stroke outboard motors become rarer and new heavier four stroke outboard engines take their place, many owners of 8hp engines and above sensibly choose to bolt the engine through the transom in a semi-permanent installation to protect from outboard motor theft.
